Abstract In this manuscript the impact of three organic molecules (in presence and absence zinc ions) in a more realistic solution medium is presented. The synthetic urinary on morphology calcium oxalate monohydrate formed similar to that seen citric acid, dominant component. particles are relatively flat, rounded particles. ions, little changed with main change being different acids show impacts for organics. Ethylenediamintetraacetic acid complexes ions lowers supersaturation as chelator would be expected to. It also growing crystal changing morphology. case tartaric adsorption onto critical nuclei and/or growth features leads incorporation. Finally, most complex was found maleic acid. Maleic interacts inhibiting effect. This can those pure water. generally led zeta potential values were closer zero therefore increase propensity these coagulate.
